spring pastoral

SUNNY WAYS - spring pastoral - 6 x 8 - oil on panel
Mostly palette knife for this small oil sketch. Couldn't resist painting these little gaffers with their mumma. What interests me is the way their wooly coats reflect the fresh spring greens of the meadow. That was the fun bit.

    The upward feeling in the meadow is fun! Love the light and shadow you have created, and yes, that color would reflect on them, just like it does on the bottoms of clouds. Super!
